Incredible kitchen facilities - we felt like master chefs in our own little sanctuary. With a stove that could rival Gordon Ramsay's arsenal and a dishwasher that made clean-up a breeze, we whipped up gourmet meals that would make any Michelin-starred restaurant jealous.
Limited phone signal.

We had a wonderful stay at Lavender Cottage, a beautiful and peaceful retreat on a working farm. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and homely, and the farm workers were friendly. The location was ideal for exploring Hope Valley, Chesterfield, and Sheffield. The welcoming touch of milk, butter, bread, wine, and flowers was a lovely gesture. The cottage had all the amenities we needed, including excellent wifi and a well-equipped kitchen. The underfloor heating in the bathroom was a nice touch, and the cottage was incredibly clean and tidy. We enjoyed relaxing in the small seated area, watching the horses go by and even witnessing a Farrier shoe one of them. There were also great local pubs and eateries nearby. a perfect retreat if you don't need a phone signal. We would definitely return if the opportunity arises.
Strongly recommend this hotel.

There was no phone signal at all, which was not mentioned in the description. This made it difficult for us to stay connected and on hand for emergency calls.
